सुबह की चाय पर जब ली चुस्की ।
घिर आए तेरी यादों के साये।
तेरे हाथ की चाय याद आई ,और ,
चाय के साथ,तुम बहुत याद आए।
खुद ही बना रहे हैं आज चाय।
बनाते बनाते तुम हो याद आए ।
डाली थी लॉन्ग इलायची मैंने भी ,
पर वह महक आज तलक न पाए।
तुम्हारे हाथों में अलग जादू था ।
जब तुम पकड़ाती थी मुझे चाय ।
एक अलग एहसास सा होता ,हाय ,
वो दिन लौट के फिर क्यों ना आए।
आ जाओ लौटकर तुम जहां हो ।
क्यों तुम नाराजगी न भूल पाए ।
चलो मत बनाना तुम चाय ,मैं ही बना लूंगा ।
पर मिलकर पिएंगे हम ,साथ चाय।

Ghir aae teree yaadon ke saaye.
Tere haath kee chaay yaad aaee ,aur ,
Chae ke saath,tum bahut yaad aae.
Khud hee bana rahe hain aaj chaay.
Banaate banaate tum ho yaad aae .
Daali thi long ilaayachee mainne bhee ,
Par vo mahak aaj talak na pae.
Tumhaare haathon se main alag jaadoo tha .
Jab tum pakadaatee thee mujhe chaay .
Ek alag ehasaas sa hota ,haay ,
Vo din laut ke phir kyon na aae.
Aa jao lautakar tum jahaan ho .
Kyon tum aaj talak naaraajagee bhool na pae .
Chalo mat banaana tum chaay ,main hee bana loonga .
Par milakar pienge ham ,saath chaay.
