3141 Write (English poetry)

When sadness fills the air, write what you feel,

Write the wounds that time could never heal.

If sweet memories return in the night,

Write each one down, hold them tight.

Recall the moments you once did share,

Write of that night beyond compare.

When love and life were both at stake,

Write of those who were real and who were fake.

When love had reached its highest flight,

People turned monsters out of spite.

Now that our bond is torn apart,

Write if they now serve with heart.

Love has no caste, no rule, no race,

No name, no label, no set place.

So ‘Geet’, if love begins to grow,

Write it down and let it show.
