आजकल के बच्चों को मां बाप की सलाह लगती है भारी।
यूं एहसास दिलाते, जैसे कुछ बोल उनको हमारी मती गई हो मारी।
कुछ भी कहो उनको,तो कहते क्यों कर रहे हैं हमें परेशान।
इनसे बात करना तो हो गया जैसे कोई काम सरकारी।
बच्चे तो फिर भी बच्चे ही होते हैं, उनकी बात का बुरा क्या मानें।
हमें तो फिर भी रखना ही होगा उनको समझाने का काम जारी।
समझ ही जाएंगे एक न एक दिन तो वो
आखिर उनकी भी आनी है कल खुद के बच्चों को समझाने की बारी।
समझदारी उनकी बताएगा आने वाला वक्त खुद ही।
समझे हैं वो कि ना समझे समझाना है हमारी जिम्मेदारी।

Aajkal ke bachchon ko maan baap kee salaah lagatee hai bhaaree.
Yun ehasaas dilaate, jaise kuchh bol unako hamaaree matee gaee ho maaree.
Kuchh bhee kaho unako,to kahate kyon kar rahe hain hamen pareshaan.
Inse baat karana to ho gaya jaise koee kaam sarakaaree.
Bachche to phir bhee bachche hee hote hain, unakee baat ka bura kya maanen.
Hamen to phir bhee rakhana hee hoga unako samajhaane ka kaam jaaree.
Samajh hee jaenge ek na ek din to vo
Aakhir unakee bhee aanee hai kal khud ke bachchon ko samajhaane kee baaree.
Samajhdari unki bataega aane wala waqt khud hi.
Samjhe Hain vo ki Na samjhe, samjhana Hai hamari jimmedari.

Today's children find the advice of parents not worthy.
Just like giving us a feeling, as we talk uselessly.
Whenever we say something,they say why are you bothering us.
Talking to them became like some government work.
Children are still children, why to bother their words.
Still, we have to keep the work of explaining them going on.
They will understand that one day or the other
After all, it is their turn too; tomorrow to explain to their own children.
Time will tell how much they understand.
Our responsibility is to tell them what is right.
