न अपने पास कुछ रख्खा, दिया क्या पूछता है वो।

हजारों गम तुम्हारे थे पिए अमृत समझकर जो।

जहर थे वह सभी गम और पिया क्या पूछता है वो।

तुम्हारी एक अ आमद को तरसते हम रहे इतना।

गुजारी रात मर के और जिया क्या पूछता है वो।

गुजारे पल सभी मर के, जिया क्या पूछता है वो।

सभी जख्मों को सीता में रहा उनसे बचा कर पर

दिखाया कुछ नहीं उसको,सिया क्या पूछता है वो।

उठाए बोझ ज़ख्मों का, कई रातों को मैं जागा ।

हजारों गम लिए उसके, लिया क्या पूछता है वो।

तड़प सब "गीत" ने सह ली, बिना आंँसू दिखाए सब।

लगाकर चोट जख्मी है हिया क्या पूछता है वो।

Sabhee jakhmon ko seeta mein raha unase bacha kar par

Dikhaaya kuchh nahin usako,siya kya poochhata hai vo.

Uthae bojh zakhmon ka, kaee raaton ko main jaaga .

On whom everything was spent today, he ask  what did you do?

Neither did he keep anything with himself, nor did he give it. What does he ask?

We have been longing for your arrival for so long.

We spent the night dying and lived, what does he ask?

All the moments passed by dying, what does he ask if he lived?

By protecting by sewing  all the wounds,

Didn't show him anything, what does he ask?

Bearing the burden of wounds, I lay awake many nights.

Saath jaana nahin, baannta tha, jab laga.

Deke paise kisee ka bhala ho saka.

Kuchh na tha paas chaahe to kya, kar diya.

Jaise taise kisee ka bhala ho saka.

Kept thinking about myself.

Kismaten sabhee kee vo, likh raha too jaanata.

Na seekha pyaar ka ik paath bhee usane seekhaane pe.

Umar saaree bita dee hamane unako to sikhaane mein।

Nahin aasaan ye letee imtihaan hai jindagee  sabaka.

Badee mehanat hai lagatee jindagee sukh se chalaane mein.

गुमां जिनको बड़ा था अपनी दौलत खूब होने का।

उन्हीं के महल ऊंँचे, ढहते गिरते  हमने देखे हैं ।

बड़ी गरजन हैं करते, रौब अपना जो दिखाने को ।

कहांँ पर वो किसी पर भी बरसते हमने देखे हैं ।

हुए पत्थर सभी थे जो, न आया था तरस जिनको।

उन्हीं सब पत्थरों से आँसू बहते हमने देखे हैं।

यहांँ पर फर्क  कितना है अमीरी और गरीबी का ।

यहीं पर लोग ठंडी से ठिठुरते हमने देखे हैं।

जो खाते भाव थे दौलत बड़ी होने का वो सारे।

इसी धरती पे पानी "गीत" भरते हमने देखे हैं ।

Badee garajan hain karate, raub apana jo dikhaane ko .

Kahaann hamane kisee par vo barasate hamane dekhe hain .

Hue patthar sabhee the jo, na aaya tha taras jinako.

Unheen sab pattharon se aansoo bahate hamane dekhe hain.

Yahaann par phark  kitana hai ameeree aur gareebee ka .

Kaee hain log aise jindagee mein kuchh na  kar pae.

Tarakkee  doosaron kee dekh jalate hamane dekhe hain.

Vahee jo log hanns hanns baat karate the kabhee sabase.

Vahee ab peechhe ban ke saamp dasate hamane dekhe hain.
