खुश हमें रहने नहीं देती दुनिया।
दुखी हम होना नहीं चाहते।
क्या करें ऐसा कि खुश रहें हम,
बेपरवाह भी होना नहीं चाहते।
क्यों गम देने पे तुली है दुनिया।
चाहते हैं हम खुशियों की सौगात।
आबाद होना चाहा था इस दुनिया में।
दुनिया क्यों करने लगी है हमें बर्बाद।
करो कुछ तो रहम हम पर ।
यूँ न तड़पाओ अपनी बातों से।
छोड़ दो मुझे मेरे हाल पर ।

Khush hamen rahane nahin detee duniya.
Dukhee ham hona nahin chaahate.
Kya karen aisa ki khush rahen ham,
Beparavaah bhee hona nahin chaahate.
Kyon gam dene pe tulee hai duniya.
Chaahate hain ham khushiyon ki saugaat.
Aabaad hona chaaha tha is duniya mein.
Duniya kyon karane lagee hai hamen barbaad.
Karo kuchh to raham ham par .
Yun na tadapao apanee baaton se.
Chhod do mujhe mere haal par .
Yun na khelo mere jajbaaton se.
The world does not let us be happy.
We don't want to be sad.
What should we do so that we remain happy?
Don't want to be careless either.
Why is the world bent on giving sorrow?
We want the gift of happiness.
Wanted to inhabit this world.
Why has the world started ruining us?
Please have some mercy on us.
Don't torment me like this with your words.
Leave me to my fate.
