ਧੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਰੌਣਕ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਨ।
ਇਨਾਂ ਬਿਨ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਘਰ ਸੁਨਮਸਾਨ।

The daughters came home all the house lightened.
Withered flowers have blossomed, the whole garden has blossomed.
Daughters are the glory of the house.
Without them, the house seems empty.
