ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਸੀ... ਇਹ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਸੋਚ ਏ।

ਹੁਣ ਆਪ ਵੀ ਓਦਾਂ ਹੀ ਸੋਚਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਏਂ। 

ਕੀ ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਏਂ।

ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਕਦੇ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਸੀ। 

ਤੇਰਾ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੀ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।

ਕੀ ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਿਆ ਏਂ। 

ਜਿਸ ਵੱਲ ਤੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੇਖਣਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।

ਹੁਣ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ।

ਛੱਡ ਜੱਦ ਆਏ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ। 

ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣਾ  ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਔਖਾ। 

ਐਸੇ ਬਣੇ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਦਿਲ ਦੇ। 

 

ਹੁਣ ਨਾ ਪੁੱਛੋ ਹਾਲ ਦਿਲ ਦਾ। 

ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਮਲਾਲ ਦਿਲ ਦਾ। 

ਕਿਵੇਂ ਰੱਖਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਇਸ ਦਾ।

ਹੁਣ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਡਾਕੀਆ।

ਚਿੱਠੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਦੌਰ ਹੁਣ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ ਏ।
