दीपावली की धूम मची है गलियों और बाजारों में ।
रंग बिरंगी लाइटें लगी ऊंँचे ऊंँचे चौबारों पे।
जा रहे हैं लोग
बन ठन कर एक दूसरे को दे रहे बधाई ।
घर घर जाकर अपनों को बांँट रहे मिठाई।
चाहत है सबकी यूंँ ही रहें सब मिलजुल कर।
सुख शांँति समृद्धि यूंँ ही बरसती रहे मांँ लक्ष्मी की सब पर।
प्यार ही प्यार फैलता रहे हर तरफ सब में।
नहीं हो कोई नफरत और भेदभाव इस जग में।

Deepavali kee dhoom machi hai galiyaan aur baajaaron mein .
Rang birangi laiten lagi oonche oonche chaubaaron pe.
Ja rahe hain log
ban than kar ek doosare ko de rahe badhaee .
Ghar ghar jaakar apanon ko baant rahe mithaee.
Chaahat hai sabaki yoon hee rahe sab miljul kar.
Sukh shaanti samrddhi yoon hee barasatee rahe maan lakshmee kee sab par.
Pyaar hee pyaar phailata rahe har taraph sab mein।
Nahin ho koee napharat aur bhedabhaav is jag mein।

Diwali is celebrated in the streets and markets.
There were colorful lights on the high squares.
people are congratulating each other.
Distributing sweets to loved ones after going from house to house.
I want everyone to stay like this, all together.
May happiness, peace and prosperity continue to rain like this on all of Maa Lakshmi.
May love keep spreading everywhere.
There should be no hatred and discrimination in this world.
