छाया यह नशा कैसा, कैसी यह खुमारी है ।

देखी जो तेरी सूरत, लगती बड़ी प्यारी है ।

तेरे बिना ओ दिलबर, मौसम का मजा भी क्या ।

सावन की झड़ी मुझको,लगती बड़ी भारी है ।

तू ही है सुकूं दिल का, तुझसे ही खुमारी है ।

देखूँ न मैं जब तुझको, बढ़ती बेकरारी है ।

खिल जाते सभी गुल हैं, आ जाते सभी भंँवरे ।

आ जाती कभी मुझको, जो याद तुम्हारी है ।

सागर भी जो भर देते, आंँखों से बहे मोती ।

तू सोच नहीं सकता यूंँ रात गुजारी है ।

सोचा है कभी तुमने, क्या मेरे भी बारे में ।

क्या भूल चुके हो तुम, जो याद हमारी है ।

चल उसको भुला दूंँ मैं, जो याद ये सारी है ।

Dekhi jo teree soorat, lagatee badee pyaaree hai .

Tere bina o dilabar, mausam ka maja bhee kya .

Savan kee jhadee mujhako,lagatee badee bhaaree hai .

Tu hee hai sukoon dil ka, tujhase hee khumaaree hai .

Dekhoon na main jab tujhako, badhatee bekaraaree hai .

Khil jaate sabhee gul hain, aa jaate sabhee bhannvare .

Aa jaatee kabhee mujhako, jo yaad tumhaaree hai .

Saagar bhee jo bhar dete, aankhon se bahe motee .

Too soch nahin sakata yoonn raat gujaaree hai .

Socha hai kabhee tumane, kya mere bhee baare mein .

Kya bhool chuke ho tum, jo yaad hamaaree hai .

Chal usko bhula doonn main, jo yaad mein saaree hai .

Kyon bojh rakhoonn dil par, itana jo yah bhaaree hai.
