We followed what our elders had to say,
Will the young do the same today?
Respect your elders and follow their way,
Will the young learn from us today?
How much the world has changed its ways,
Who knows where life is leading these days?
Nobody cares for anyone anymore,
Does anyone think of others as before?
These days, everyone has a mood of their own,
They prefer to stay in a world of their own.
Lost in their own thoughts, they stay,
Must they spend time with us every day?
Children today are just this way,
We have to accept them anyway.
We gave them love in every way,
Must they return the same love today?
