नज़र नज़र से मिली और फिर इशारे चले ।

न एक दूसरे बिन ,उनके फिर गुजारे चले ।

वो रास्ते जो थे फैले यहां से दूर तलक ।

पकड़ के हाथ चले, प्यार के सहारे चले ।

वो देखते मेरे साये में अपनी मंजिल को।

उसी को पाने को थे साथ वो हमारे चले ।

चले थे हाथ पकड़ वो तो मंजिलों की तरफ ।

हुआ था ऐसा भी क्या वो अलग किनारे चले।

दिया न साथ कभी "गीत" राह पर उसने । 

हज़ार बार उन्हें हम तो थे पुकारे चले।

(English Meaning)

The eyes met and then the gestures followed.

Neither without each other, go on living with them again.

Those paths which were spread far away from here.

Hold hands and walk with the help of love.

They sees their destination in my shadow

To get the same, they went with me.

He never gave me hand in path.

Many a times, we went on calling him the chec.

Went towards both the floors holding hands.

When they parted, they both went to different shores.
