I sit with my eyes fixed upon your way,

Hoping you pass, and I see you someday.

Tears come to my eyes, but inside they stay,

If I get your support, pain will fade away.

Show me your glimpse just once, just near,

Why such delay, when love is clear?

My soul feels lost with this thought each day,

Why this coldness, why no love your way?

Don’t hurt me more by staying apart,

If there is no love, then just break my heart.

Then let pain burn, but I’ll wait no more,

No hope will remain, no knock on the door.

ਸੋਚਦੇ ਸੀ ਅਸੀਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ‘ਚ, ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਏ ਹੋਏ,

ਕੀ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸੀ ਅਸੀਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ਦੀ ਚੋਟ ਖਾਏ ਹੋਏ।

ਕਿੰਨੀਆਂ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਲਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ,

ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਜਹਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੇ ਰਮਾਏ ਹੋਏ।

ਸਿਰ ਉੱਪਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ,

ਅਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਬੈਠੇ ਰਹੇ, ਸਜਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰ ਝੁਕਾਏ ਹੋਏ।

ਤੇਰੀ ਮਹਿਫ਼ਲ ਵਿੱਚ, ਤੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਖਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਸੀ,

ਚਲੇ ਆਏ ਅਸੀਂ ਮਹਿਫ਼ਲ ਤੋਂ, ਦਿਲ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮ ਖਾਏ ਹੋਏ।

But love has hurt, it broke our way.

So many dreams, we kept inside.

Not knowing they lived, in their own pride.

We raised our eyes, they were not there.

We bowed in prayer, in silent care.

Your charm had pulled, we came so near.

But left with wounds, a broken tear.

ਯਾਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੇਰੇ, ਘੇਰੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਰ ਦਮ।

ਕਿਉਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖਾਮੋਸ਼ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ।

ਤਰਾਨੇ ਸੁਣੋ, ਫਸਾਨੇ ਸੁਣੋ, ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਓ ਅਤੀਤ।

ਕਿਉਂ ਇੰਜ ਹੀ ਬਹਾਨੇ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ।

ਹਕੀਕਤ ਉਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਅੱਜ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ।

ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾ ਕੌਣ ਸੀ ਤੂੰ, ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ ਜੋ ਅੱਜ ਹੋ।

Memories surround you, they never set you free,

Why do you stay so quiet, like waves without the sea?

Listen to songs, hear stories, let the past be gone,

Don’t make excuses to keep distance and move on.

The truth is the present, what you hold today,

Forget what you were, let the past fade away.

Let there be no wall of wealth between us.

If there is even a little truth in this love.

Every wall that stands against love will break.

ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ’ਚ ਬਦਲ ਹੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਆਵੇਂਗੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਸੋਹਬਤ ’ਚ, ਤਨਹਾਈ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਹੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਕਦੇ ਨਾ ਕਦੇ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਇਹ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ।

ਫਿਰ ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਖਿੜੇਗੀ ਬਹਾਰ ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ਦੀ।

ਹੰਜੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਅਲਵਿਦਾ ਕਹਿ ਦਵਾਂਗਾ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸੌਗਾਤ ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ਦੀ।

ਜਵਾਨ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੜਕਣਾਂ ਨਾ ਰੁਕ ਜਾਣ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ।

ਨਾ ਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਕੰਧ ਦੌਲਤ ਦੀ।

ਜੇ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਥੋੜੀ ਵੀ ਸੱਚਾਈ ਇਸ ਪਿਆਰ ’ਚ।

ਟੁੱਟ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਹਰ ਕੰਧ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ਦੀ।
