ਰਦੀਫ਼ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ
ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਪਲ ਪਲ ਨਿਕਲਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਸੋਚਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਅਜੇਹੀ ਇਹ ਸਰਕਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਾਥ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਨਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਤਾਂ,
ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਜਵਾਨੀ ਇੰਜ ਢਲਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਾਮ੍ਹਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਹੁਣ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੇਹਨਤ ਦਾ ਮੇਰੀ,
ਹਰ ਕਦਮ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਵੇਖਦੇ ਨੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਿਉਂ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਛਿਪੀ ਜੋ।
ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਉਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਬਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਦੱਸੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ, ਕਿਥੇ ਖੋਇਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਅੱਜਕੱਲ੍ਹ।
ਓਸਤੋਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਦੱਸ ਗਲਤੀ ਤੇ ਗਲਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਹਥ ਹੈ ਗੀਤ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਦਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ।
ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਹੁਣ ਉਸਦੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਤੁਰਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

रदीफ़ जा रही है
जानता हूँ ज़िंदगी पल-पल निकलती जा रही है।
सोचता हूंँ जिंदगी क्यों कर फिसलती जा रही है।
जब कभी तुमने दिया ही साथ ना अपने बदन का।
अब जवानी में उम्र कहते हो ढलती जा रही है।
सामने आया नतीजा अब है मेहनत का,तभी तो।
हर कदम पर कामयाबी खुद ही मिलती जा रही है।
क्यों नहीं हैं देख पाए लोग, मेहनत कितनी पीछे।
लोगो को क्यों कामयाबी मेरी खलती जा रही है।
आजकल रहता कहांँ खोया बताए कोई मुझको।
उससे होती क्यों कहो गलती पे गलती जा रही है
हाथ उसका है सदा सर पर तभी तो जिंदगी ये।
किस मज़े से 'गीत' आगे आगे चलती जा रही है।

We broke that wall with struggle and care.

We filled the gap with love so deep,
Who built this wall of hate to keep?
The wall we tried for years to break,
How did it rise again, awake?
Let home affairs stay locked inside,
Don’t break the wall we kept with pride.
When harsh words came from one so near,
The wall came back so fast, so clear.
We once lived close, in peace and grace,
Why did a wall now take that place?
When brothers fought and chose to part,
The wall then cracked the family heart.
To guard from enemy both far and near,
'Geet' keep each wall strong, firm, and clear.

Please save what’s left, don’t break the last of this weak wall.
One word I said, and voices rose against my voice,
So fast it rose, no time to think, just formed a wall.
We lived in peace, from childhood till our youth was gone,
Then why in age, between our hearts, has come this wall?
When cracks appeared between the brothers once so close,
All saw their home collapse beneath that broken wall.
