था ठहरा हुआ फिर भी तूफान थे हम।

हां ठुकराया चाहे कभी प्यार में था।

तेरे इश्क की ऊंँची पहचान थे हम।

तेरे इश्क ने जानवर था बनाया

कहे चाहे कुछ कोई , इंसान थे हम।

गरीबी में चाहे पले हम थे लोगो।

बने अपनी मेहनत से धनवान थे हम।

था कितना भी मुश्किल हमें "गीत" पाना

उसे पाने को फिर भी आसान थे हम

Tere kahane se teree mehamaan the ham

The mehphil mein phir bhee to veeraan the ham.

Vahee sach tha maana kha tumane jo tha.

Teree har khata se jo anajaan the ham. 

The khaamosh jab ham teree baat sahakar

Tha thahara hua phir bhee toophaan the ham.

Haan thukaraaya chaahe kabhee pyaar mein tha.

Tere ishk kee oonchee pahachaan the ham.

Tere ishk ne jaanavar tha banaaya

Kahe chaahe kuchh koee , insaan the ham.

Tha kitana bhee mushkil hamen paana sabako.

Use paane ko phir bhee aasaan the ham.

kabhee the gareebee mein paale gae ham.

bane apanee mehanat se dhanavaan the ham.
