कहीं याद कर रहे हैं हम अपने शहीदों को ,

कहीं सुन रहे हैं नारे तोड़ने के  देश को।

समझ नहीं आता आज़ादी के इन सालों में ,

हमने क्या पाया और क्या चले हैं  खाने को ।

एक तरफ जय हिंद एक तरफ अलगाव के सपने ।

समझ नहीं आता कौन गैर, कौन है अपने।

टूट न जाए कहीं आजादी के दीवानों ने,

देखे थे हम लोगों के लिए जो सपने।

कैसे एक रह पाएगे जब बिखर जाएंगे सब लोग 

क्यों धर्म के नाम पर, कभी भाषा के नाम पर ,

कभी रंगत के नाम पर बांटते हैं देश को ।

क्यों नहीं पहचानते तुम कुछ नहीं जो यह देश न हो ।

तुम्हारा धर्म ,तुम्हारी रंगत ,तुम्हारी भाषा ,

सब का अस्तित्व तभी तक है जब तक देश है।

नहीं तो जिन चीजों के नाम पर तुम देश बांटते हो ,

उनका कोई महत्व नहीं, यह देश नहीं तो कुछ नहीं ।

यह देश नहीं तो तुम नहीं।

Kaheen yaad kar rahe hain ham apane shaheedon ko ,

Kaheen sun rahe hain naare todane ke desh ko .

Samajh nahin aata aazaadee ke in saalon mein ,

Hamane kya paaya aur kya chale hain  khaane ko .

Ek taraph jay hind ek taraph alagaav ke sapane .

Samajh nahin aata kaun gair, kaun hai apane.

Toot na jae kaheen aajaadee ke deevaanon ne,

Dekhe the ham logon ke lie jo sapane.

Kaise ek rah paega jab bikhar jaenge sab log 

Kyon dharm ke naam par kabhee bhaasha ke naam par ,

Kabhee rangat ke naam par baantate hain desh ko .

Kyon nahin pahachaanate tum kuchh nahin jo yah desh na ho .

Tumhaara dharm ,tumhaaree rangat ,tumhaaree bhaasha ,

Sab ka astitv tabhee tak hai jab tak desh .

Nahin to jin cheejon ke naam par tum desh baantane chale ho ,

Unaka koee mahatv nahin, yah desh nahin to kuchh nahin .

Yeh desh nahin to tum nahin।

Somewhere we are remembering our martyrs,

Somewhere we are hearing slogans to break the country.

I do not understand in these years of independence,

What have we found and what are we going to loose.

Jai Hind on one side, dreams of separation on one side.

I do not understand who is against me, who is my own.

We should not brake dreams seen by the lovers of freedom,

How will we be able to remain one when everyone will be scattered?

Why in the name of religion, sometimes in the name of language,

Sometimes they divide the country in the name of color.

Why don't you recognize you are nothing that is not this country.

Your religion, your colour, your language,

Everything exists only as long as the country.

Otherwise, in the name of which you have gone to divide the country,

They have no importance, if not this country, then nothing.

If not this country, then you are nothing.
