थी तमन्ना कि मैं देवता देखता ।
लूट कर प्यार बर्बाद जिसने किया ।
कैसे उसको बता मैं खुदा देखता ।
जिसने वादा किया ही नहीं आने का ।
कब तलक उसका मैं रास्ता देखता ।
वो लगाया जिसे हमने था पार वो।
चाहता था हमें डूबता देखता।

Main to manjil ka khud raasta dekhata .
Jisane toda bharosa mera kaash, ki .
Vo mujhe aage ko badh chuka dekhata .
Jis ko aage badhaaya dilo jaan se tha.
Chaahata tha mujhe tootata dekhata .
Vo nibha na saka dostee bhee jise .
Thee tamanna ki main devata dekhata .
Loot kar pyaar barbaad jisane kiya .
Kaise usako bata main khuda dekhata .
Jisane vaada kiya hee nahin aane ka .
Kab talak usaka main raasta dekhata .
Vo lagaaya jise hamane tha paar vo.
Chaahata tha hamen doobata dekhata.
Bas gaee "geet" aannkhon mein tasveer ban .
Rehata hoon khud aaeena dekhata.
