Stars are fewer in the sky,
Even the moon hides up high.
What has happened to this earth today,
Smoke and poison fill the way.
Moon and stars are lost from sight,
Covered by the dusty night.
Just like this,
Some people have turned this way,
From their lips hard words only stray.
No gentle word to make hearts smile,
Only bitter tones all the while.
What to say, the times have changed,
Simple feelings stand estranged.
What is moving in hearts inside,
Silent secrets try to hide.
