गंगा की सुंदर और स्वच्छ ये लहरें ,
उस पर सूरज के स्वर्णिम कण सुनहरे।

पलके झपकती पानी की ये लहरें ,
कभी लगती हैं किसी सोच में गहरे।

नीर दिखाता जैसे अपने अलग रंग।
 ऐसे  मानव  बदले अपने चेहरे।

कभी चलें मस्त और बलखाती हुई ,
शाँत कभी जैसे लगे हों पहरे।


जिंदगी जो ले रही है इतने झटके ,२१
चाहूँ कभी लहरों सी ये भी ठहरे।२१

Ganga kee sundar aur svachchh ye laharen ,
Us par sooraj ke svarnim kan sunahare.

Palake jhapakatee paanee kee ye laharen ,
Kabhee lagatee hain kisee soch mein gahare.

Neer dikhaata jaise apane alag rang.
 Aise  maanav  badale apane chehare.

Kabhee chalen mast aur balakhaatee huee ,
Shaant kabhee jaise lage hon pahare.


Jindagee jo le rahee hai itane jhatake ,
Chaahoon kabhee laharon see ye bhee thahare.

(English Translation)
Beautiful and clean waves of the Ganga,
Golden particles of the sun golden  it.

These waves of blinking water,
Sometimes I feel deep in thinking.

Its water Shows  Its Different Colors.
But humans change their faces like colors.

Let us go cool and strong,
Watch the guards as they once were.

Life is taking so much shocks,
Should I ever stop like calm waves?
