सूखा हुआ पत्ता हूँ,

जाने कब गिर जाऊँ। 

तू संभाल ले जो मुझे 

कुछ और मैं जी जाऊँ। 

मेरा रंग रूप बदल गया 

शाख से भी ढल गया।

कुछ देर और है,

छाँव मैं दे जाऊँ। 

याद तो मैं आऊँगा 

साथ था मैं तेरे।

जब अकेला मैं तुझे 

यहाँ छोड़ जाऊँगा। 

दुनिया की यही

रीत आनी जानी है। 

आया हूँ, जाके मैं, 

रीत निभा जाऊँगा।

Sookha hua patta hoon,

Jaane kab gir jaoon. 

Tu sambhaal le jo mujhe 

Kuchh aur main jee jaoon. 

Mera rang roop badal gaya 

Shaakh se bhee dhal gaya.

Kuchh der aur hai,

Chhaanv main de jaoon. 

Yaad to main aaoonga 

Saath tha main tere.

Jab akela main tujhe 

Yahaan chhod jaoonga. 

Duniya kee yahee

Reet aanee jaanee hai. 

Aaya hoon, jaake main, 

Reet nibha jaoonga.

I am a dry leaf,

Know, when I fall

You take care of me

May I live some more .

My complexion changed
