पुत्र प्रह्लाद ने अग्नि समर्पित होने को ,
संग पति के अपनी माता को दिया रोक।
कहे, पिता अब कहां रहे यह तो सिर्फ देह है
 जीतों के लिए जी ,छोड़ ,जो चले गए परलोक।

मरने वालों के संग मरा ना जाए ,
जीने वालों के लिए है कर्तव्य अनेक।
छोड़ो झूठी परंपराओं को अब ,
जीने और मरने वालों का जान लो भेद।

पत्नी होकर बहुत कष्ट सह लिए ,
अब माता का तू फर्ज निभा।
मरने वालों के साथ मरा न जाए ,
जीने का तू फर्ज निभा।

Putr prahlaad ne agni samarpit hone ko ,

Sang pati ke apanee maata ko diya rok.

Kahe, pita ab kahaan rahe yeh to sirph deh hai

 Jiton ke lie jee ,chhod jo chale gae paralok.

Marane vaalon ke sang maara na jae ,

Jeene vaalon ke lie hai kartavy anek.

Chhodo jhoothee paramparaon ko ,

Jeene aur marane vaalon ka jaan lo bhed. 

Patnee hokar bahut kasht sah lie ,

Ab maata ka too pharj nibha.

Marane vaalon ke saath maara na jae ,

Jeene ka too pharj nibha.

(English Meaning) 

Son Prahlada stop mother to dedicate to fire,

Withholding of husband with his mother.

Say, where is the father now, is it only the body

 For the victories, leave those who have gone to the hereafter.

One can not be die with those who die

Duty is many for those who live.

Leave the false traditions,

Know the difference between the living and the dying.

Having suffered a lot as a wife,

Now Do mother's duty

One can not die with those who die

You are obliged to live.
