क्यों सूख गई है दरिया ,सेहरा भी जल उठा।
अभी तक किसी ने इस बात को नहीं समझा।
तरीका है यही कुदरत का नाराज़गी दिखाने का।
कोशिश करती रही कुदरत, पर आदमी नहीं समझा।
कुछ लोग लगे हैं सवारने कुदरत का रुख।
पर कितने लगे हैं बिगाड़ने, यह क्यों नहीं समझा।
मनाता है खुशियांँ छोड़कर आतिशें हवा में।
और जहर खुद के लिए है घोलता क्यों नहीं समझा।

Kyon sookh gaya hai dariya ,sehara bhee jal utha.
Abhi tak kisi ne is baat ko nahin samjha.
Tareeka hai yahi kudarat ka naaraazagee dikhaane ka.
Koshish karti rahee kudarat, par aadami nahin samajha.
Kuchh log lage hain savaarane kudarat ka rukh.
Par kitne lage hain bigaadane, yeh kyon nahin samjha.
Manaata hai khushiyan chhodkar aatishen hava mein.
Aur jehar khud ke lie hai gholta kyon nahin samajha.
