इश्क का मुआवज़ा तो भरना था।

तू सनम दूर रहे मुझसे इस कदर  ,
क्या यही इश्क का सिला मिलना था।

याद में बसर करते हुए ये जिंदगी,
गम ए इश्क़ के दरिया से गुजरना था ।

यादों की जो तस्वीर बन रही है,

Bas ek tujhe hee to yaad karana tha.

Jo ishk kar hee liya tha tujhase to,
 To  miyaan  is se ab kya darana kya  tha

Taane maaren duniya vaale to kya.
Ishq ka muaavza to bhrana tha.

Tu sanam door rahe mujhase is kadar  ,
Kya yahee ishk ka sila milana tha.

Yaad mein basar karate hue ye jindagee,
Gam e ishq ke dariya se gujarana tha .

Yadon kee jo tasveer ban rahee hai,
Aansuon se usamen rang bharana tha.
