Aur paden ,soch mein gahar
Kal tak the jo hansate gaate ,
Kyon ud gae din sunahare.

Kaid ho rah gaya aadamee ,
Baitha bheetar soche gahare.
Kal tak tha jo aajaad panchhee ,
Aaj kitane lage hain pahare.

 Jitani veh door kee soche,
Utai dolen mann ki lehren
kal tak thee jo bahatee nadi ,
aaj kaise vo ek pal thahare.

Till yesterday there were those who used to sing laugh,

Seated deep inside
Till yesterday,,which was the free bird  .
So many guards are there today.

The river which flowed till yesterday,
