That shining star I once called mine,
For me, it forgot how to shine.
The one whose sight gave breath to me,
Now avoid my eyes, I clearly see.
All my life’s wealth I gave to make,
Still, they left me for their own sake.
I turned bad, new faces they adore,
With me, they keep no love anymore.
Their smiling lips have lost their glow,
Why they left all, I don’t know.
When life’s aim is to stay in cheer,
Why leave joy and bring in fear?
Maybe they forgot pain and delight,
So no more laughter, no more smiles.
You were your parent's pride so true,
Why you left them, I ask you?
