1196 खत (Khatt) Envelope

लाख कोशिश की तूने मुझे उलझाने की ,
फिर भी उलझन से खुद को निकाल आया।

होता रहा कुछ भी जिंदगी की फिल्म में ,
अपने किरदार में मैं करके कमाल आया।

बड़ी मुश्किल से उठाया था खत मैंने उसका ,
जिस में उसका अहद ए वफ़ा का हाल आया।

जो ना कर पाया  होंसला खोल कर पढ़ने का,
तो फिर उसी लिफ़ाफ़े में उसे डाल आया।

Laakh koshish kee toone mujhe ulajaane kee ,
Phir bhee ulajhan se khud ko nikaal aaya.

Hota raha kuchh bhee jindagee kee Film mein ,
Apane kiradaar mein ,main karke kamaal aaya.

Badee mushkil se uthaaya tha khat mainne usaka ,
Jis mein usaka ehad e vafa ka haal aaya.

Jo na kar paaya  honsala khol kar padhane ka,
To phir usee lifaafe mein use daal aaya.

You tried a lot to make me blush,
Still I take myself out of confusion.

Whatever may be film of life,
I did amazing in my role.

I had picked up the letter with great difficulty,
In which his condition of pomise of constancy

When I got no courage to read it,
I put it back in the envelope.
