ਉਮੀਦ 'ਚ ਬੈਠਾ ਹਾਂ, ਪੈਗਾਮ ਦਵੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ।

ਅੱਖਾਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ, ਬੇਚੈਨੀ ਵਧੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ।

ਕੁਝ ਪਲ ਹੀ ਸਹੀ ਹੁਣ ਤਾਂ, ਆਰਾਮ ਦਵੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ।

ਜੀਵਨ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੁਣ, ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਏ ਨਾਂ  ਸਾਰਾ।

ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਰਹੇ ਲੱਗਾ, ਉਹ ਨਾਮ ਦਵੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ।

ਤੜਪਾਵੋਗੇ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਹੁਣ, ਮਾਸੂਮ ਜਿਹੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ।

ਮਿਲ ਜਾਵੇ ਸਕੂਂ ਇਕ ਪਲ, ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਦਵੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ।

ਜਦ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਣ ਦੋਵੇਂ, ਮਹਕੇ ਏ ਫ਼ਿਜ਼ਾ ਸਾਰੀ।

ਖੁਸ਼ਬੂ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਇੱਕ, ਗੁਲਫ਼ਾਮ ਦਵੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ।

ਉਂਗਲੀ ਨਾ ਉਠੇ ਤੇਤੇ, ਤੇ ਪਾਕ ਰਹੇ ਦਾਮਨ।

ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਾਏ, ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਦਵੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ।

ਕਦ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਰਹਾਂ ਤਨਹਾ, ਬਾਹਾਂ 'ਚ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਵੋ।

जब से हैं लड़ी आंँखें, बढ़ने लगी बेताबी।

कुछ पल ही सही अब तो, आराम मुझे दे दो।

जीवन किया अपना अब, ये नाम तेरे सारा।

लग साथ तेरे जाए, वो नाम मुझे दे दो।

तरसाओगे कितना इस, मासूम से दिल को तुम।

चाहूंँ जो बिताना इक, वो शाम मुझे दे दो।

जब साथ चलें दोनों, चहके ये जहां सारा।

ख़ुशबू से तेरी महके, गुलफ़ाम मुझे दे दो।

उंँगली न उठे तुम पर, और पाक रहे दामन।

ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਚਾਹਿਆ ਕਿ ਨਾ ਚਾਹਵਾਂ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਅਲੱਗ ਹੋਣਾ,

ਪਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਫ਼ਿਤਰਤ ਬਣੀ ਰਹੀ ਐਸੀ, ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਜੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਹੋਣਾ।

ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਰੁਖੀ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ।

ਕਿਉਂ ਤੋੜਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਸਲੋਣਾ।

ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹਿਆ ਪਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਸੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖੋਣਾ।

ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵੀ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਬਣੇ, ਤੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਨਾ ਸਕਿਆ।

ਤੇਰੀ ਲਕੀਰਾਂ 'ਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਅਲੱਗ ਹੋਣਾ।

 ਜਦ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣਾ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਆਇਆ, ਫੇਰ,

  ਉਹੀ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸੀ ਬੀਜ ਬੋਣਾ।

ਹੁਣ ਥੱਕ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ ਸਾਥ ਤੇਰਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ,

ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਹੁਣ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਹੋਣਾ।

ਤੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।,

ਕਿਵੇਂ ਲੰਘਿਆ ਦਿਨ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੰਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਦੇ ਕਰਦੇ।

ਕੁਝ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀਆਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ, ਕੁਝ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਨਾਕਾਮੀਆਂ,

ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿੱਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦੇ।

She wakes up early, starts her chore,
And works for all, then works some more.

No hour that's hers, no moment freed.

They say, "She’s home, so life is sweet,"
"She rests all day, her job’s complete."
But no one gives her even a break,
Though all her tasks, she undertakes.

No one sees the pain she hides,
Who gave her all, with open strides.
If something small doesn’t go right,
She hears complaints both day and night.

None can feel her silent tears,
Or see her strength through all the years.
Who knows what fate her hands will hold,
As time moves on, and she grows old?

She wonders, thinking in the night,
“I gave them all, with all my might.”
Will she ever reap the seeds she’s sown,
Or live the dreams she called her own?

Still today, she stands alone—
With nothing she can call her own.

And showing off in every place.
Once you left and walked away,
No more meetings came our way.

You never liked to see me lose,
But helped me win — was that your ruse?
Perhaps that was our final meet,
You agreed with me, calm and sweet.

So much love you once would show,
Then left me all alone in woe.
You saw me lose and couldn’t bear,
Then dropped your gaze, as if not there.

I try to forget that painful scene,
But “Geet” recalls what might have been.

ਪਿਆਰ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਖਾਓਣਾ ਯਾਦ ਹੈ।

ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੋਵਾਂ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ

ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਬਿਤਾਓਣਾ ਯਾਦ ਹੈ।

ਹਾਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਜਦ ਕਦੇ ਬਾਜੀ ਕੋਈ। 

ਕੋਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਬਿਠਾਉਣਾ ਯਾਦ ਹੈ।

ਜਦ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਰ ਤੋਂ ਫਿਰ।

ਰਾਤ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਲੰਘਾਓਣਾ ਯਾਦ ਹੈ।

ਲੋਕ ਸੜਦੇ ਸੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ,

ਨਾਲ ਉਹਦੇ ਜਾ ਸੜਾਉਣਾ ਯਾਦ ਹੈ।

ਨਿੱਕੀ ਜੇਹੀ ਗੱਲ 'ਤੇ ਰੁੱਸਣਾ ਤੇਰਾ,

ਫੇਰ ਹੱਸ ਹੱਸ ਕੇ ਚਿੜ੍ਹਾਓਣਾ ਯਾਦ ਹੈ।

"ਗੀਤ" ਦਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚਿੜਾਉਣਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ,

ਆਪਣੇ ਫਿਰ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਉਣਾ ਯਾਦ ਹੈ।

Humming love beneath the moon.

Singing songs to show you care,
Love was floating in the air.

When I sat down feeling low,
You stayed close and had let me show.

When I failed, you helped me stand,

Lifting me with loving hand.

When the crowd would walk away,
We would talk the night away.

People burned with jealous eyes,
When they saw our bonded ties.

Getting upset on things so small,
And teasing me for no cause at all.
'Geet' teasing me with eyes so bright,
I still recall when you hug me tight .

ਕੁਝ ਨਰਮ‌ ਪੱਥਰ, ਰੰਗੀਲੇ ਕੰਚ ਕੁਜ,

ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੋਈ ਸਮਾਂ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ,

ਕੋਈ ਵਕਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਕਹਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ । 

ਸਭ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ,

ਕਿੰਨਾ ਆਰਾਮ ਹੈ, ਕਿੰਨੇ ਮਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ। 

ਪਰ ਕਦੇ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦੀ,

ਕੰਮ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ । 

ਜਦੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਉਹਦਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ,

ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੁਣਾ ਕੇ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ। 

ਕੋਈ ਕੀ ਜਾਣੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਪੀੜਾ,

ਜਿਸਨੇ ਲੁਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਆਪਣਾ। 

ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਸਕਦਾ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ,

ਕਿਹੜੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਲਿਖੀ ਉਸਦੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ। 

ਮਨ ਮਸੋਸ ਕੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਸੋਚਦੀ,

ਕੀ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ। 

ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਮਿਲੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਫਲ,

ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਉਸ ਸੁਪਨਾ,

 So much darkness is spread all around,

Tell me, how can the light be found?

Man has turned against his kind,

Hate and shadows everywhere bound.

Tomorrow’s sun will surely rise,

But today, dark clouds surround.

When bright light fills every place,

We’ll learn from the night so profound.

Time is fickle, never the same,

Suddenly darkness can come unbound.

Everyone’s role matters too,

Like day and night that go around.

Even this dark brings peace at times,

It holds some meaning, deep and sound.

"Geet," don’t fear the darkest skies,

Light and dark go round and round.
