3229 The Earth says, "Water is not an executioner." (English poetry)

Why do you call water bad?

It went away, it was not mad.
You sent it off, the land was dry,
No soft trees were left nearby.

My belly was stiff, I felt so weak,
You cut the trees, green and meek.
I tried to heal, I tried to stay,
But you kept cutting me day by day.

How long could I take this test?
I am gentle, I did my best.
Don’t blame me, the fault is yours,
For every deed, one pays of course.

I too grew tired, I lost my way,
So I came as water one sad day.
Your body is land, it dries the same,
Without food and drink, it feels the pain.

When balance breaks, you fall in ill,
With vomit and fever against your will.
I am the same, a mother near,
I suffer much, yet keep life here.

You are the reason, don’t call me wrong,
Water is life, it makes you strong.
