2992 These days (English poetry)

People’s minds are trapped in such strange ties,

They stay warm in words but cold in their eyes.

Children are raised in a way so poor,
No matter how smart, they’re left unsure.

An accident happens, people just stare,
They stand like the blind, as if unaware.

It’s hard these days to know someone’s heart,
In bright clothes, they hide their dark art.

They never care for God’s humble crew,
Yet claim they’re chosen, special, and true.

They shout they’ll save the nation one day,
But their own hands are dirty in every way.

They act like donors, serving the rest,
But gather money and fail the test.

Oh ‘Geet,’ some fates are bitter and cruel,
No matter their kindness, they’re treated a fool.
