The one who stands so far and lone,
Up close appears so big and grown.
Who once spoke proudly to all around,
Now hides in shame, head to the ground.
Once cheerful, full of charm and grace,
Now seems to wear a grim, pale face.
He loved someone, gave his heart away,
But she betrayed, and broke his day.
Those days were sweet when all were near,
But now they fight, with hate and fear.
The flower once held by every gaze,
Now falls from the branch, its bloom decays.
He spoke so kindly, his words so sweet,
But now his tone is sharp and bleak.
When things go far beyond their line,
The pot will break, no matter the time.
