ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸ, ਮੇਰੇ ਕਮੀ ਕੀ ਹੈ।
ਰਾਸ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਆਏ ਨੇ,

कोई गलती नहीं की उसने फिर भी कैसे हारा वो।
पता जाकर लगाओ कौन है इस हार के पीछे।

In the Mahabharat, these sacred words came from Krishna’s mouth that day.
Arjun fought the great war bravely when he received wisdom from the Gita.
People may say anything, but we know the true essence of the Gita.
We are people of India, and our respect comes from the Gita.
The one who considered Krishna ordinary, thinking He was only a man.
That same Dhritarashtra later realised Krishna is God through the Gita.
You may read thousands of books if you want knowledge.
But never live your life without knowing the Gita.
You may have read many poets and many books in life.
But you know all of them are smaller compared to the Gita.
So much deep knowledge is kept inside this small holy book.
Even a cruel person becomes human when he learns from the Gita.
If someone is stuck in confusion and cannot see the right path.

ਸੀ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਧ੍ਰਿਤਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਨੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਗੀਤਾ ਤੋਂ।
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜੋ ਜੱਦ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ ,
ਨਾ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਪਰ ਕਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ 'ਚ ਇਸ ਅਨਜਾਨ ਗੀਤਾ ਤੋਂ।
ਪੜ੍ਹੇ੍ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਵੀ ਨੇ ਦੀਵਾਨ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ,
ਜੋ ਤੋਲੋ ਘੱਟ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਦੀਵਾਨ ਗੀਤਾ ਤੋਂ।
ਸਮਾਇਆ ਗਿਆਨ ਇਸ ਛੋਟੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਇਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਨਾ,
ਬਣੇ ਹੈਵਾਨ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਤਾਂ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਗੀਤ ਤੋਂ।
ਫਸੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਕੋਈ ਉਲਝਣ, ਮਿਲੇ ਨਾ ਰਾਹ ਜਦ ਕੋਈ,
ਤੂੰ ਦੇਵੀ 'ਗੀਤ' ਉਸਨੂੰ ਗਿਆਨ ਕਰ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਨ ਗੀਤਾ ਤੋਂ।

मिली दुनिया में भारत को, नयी पहचान गीता से।
जो जाना इसको दुनिया ने , बढ़ी फिर शान गीता से।
महाभारत में निकली थी ,कृष्ण के मुख से जो उस दिन।
लड़ा था युद्ध अर्जुन ने मिला जब ज्ञान गीता से।
कोई कुछ भी कहे हम जानते हैं मर्म गीता का।
हैं हम भारत के वासी और हमारा मान गीता से।
समझता तुच्छ था जो कृष्ण को मानव समझकर ही।
वही धृतराष्ट्र जाना कृष्ण हैं भगवान गीता से।
पढ़ो तुम पुस्तकें लाखों ही चाहे ज्ञान की खातिर।
मगर रहना न जीवन में, कभी अनजान गीता से।
पढ़े तुमने हो चाहे कितने भी दीवान जीवन में।
पता होगा हैं कमतर वो, सभी दीवान गीता से।
समाया ज्ञान इस छोटे से ही इक ग्रंथ में इतना।
बने हैवान पाया ज्ञान तो इंसान गीता से।
फँसा हो कोई उलझन में, दिखाई दे न और मंजिल।
तो देना ज्ञान करके 'गीत' तुम गुणगान गीता से ।
Became famous by this great name, shining like a star.
Baba ji was a scholar, a jurist, an economist of grace,
A politician, a social reformer,known in every place.
Father of the Indian Constitution, a maker of our Republic’s way,
A voice of India’s freedom, who fought with a noble say.
In his whole life, he fought against untouchability’s chain,
And wrote Waiting for a Visa from his own lived pain.
For giving reservation to Dalits, his efforts were wise and pure;
He formed the "Bahishkrit Hitkarini Sabha" to help the poor.
His wish to end the caste system was firm and strong,
Though many political groups said his thoughts were wrong.
Ambedkar ji sat on high positions with honour and pride,
And books were the love that always stayed by his side.
In Mumbai he built a home named “Rajgriha,” bright,
With a private library storing 50,000 books in its light.
(It was then the world’s largest private library of its time.
A treasure of knowledge, truly grand and prime.)
In 1936 he published "Annihilation of Caste", bold and clear,
Criticising casteism and religious leaders without fear.
He left Hinduism, embraced Buddhism with peace in his heart,
And gave India its Constitution, his wisdom, his art.
He was the first Indian with a doctorate in Economics so fine,
And wrote many important books in that learned line.
Administration and Finance of the East India Company,
Evaluation of Provincial Finance in British India,
The Problem of the Rupee: Its Origin and Its Solution.
His ideas even shaped the RBI’s foundation and evolution.
His last book The Buddha and His Dhamma was completed with care,
Just three days before he left this world’s affair.
And on 6 December 1956, he moved into eternal rest,
leaving a legacy forever noble, forever the best.

ਜੇਹਲਮ ਵੀ ਤੇ ਚਨਾਬ ਓਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਗ਼ਜ਼ਲ 'ਚ ਹੈ।
ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ,
ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਹਸੀਨ ਖ਼ਵਾਬ ਓਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਗ਼ਜ਼ਲ 'ਚ ਹੈ।
ਕਰ ਸਕਿਆ ਨਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਜੋ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਂ 'ਚ ਆਪਣੇ,
ਮਾਸ਼ੂਕ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਾਬ ਓਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਗ਼ਜ਼ਲ 'ਚ ਹੈ।
ਨੇੜੇ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਸਿਹਰਨ ਸੀ ਉਠ ਰਹੀ,
ਏਹਸਾਸ ਦਾ ਗੁਲਾਬ ਓਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਗ਼ਜ਼ਲ 'ਚ ਹੈ।
ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਪਿਆਰ, ਤੇ ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਸੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਮ,
ਹਰ ਸ਼ਖ਼ਸ ਦਾ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਓਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਗ਼ਜ਼ਲ 'ਚ ਹੈ।
ਵੱਖਰੇ ਸੀ ਹੋਏ ਜੱਦ ਉਦੋਂ, ਵਰਿਆ ਸੀ ਮੀਂਂਹ ਵੀ ਤਾਂ।
ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਬ ਓਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਗ਼ਜ਼ਲ 'ਚ ਹੈ।

रदीफ़ हमारी ग़ज़ल में है
हर दिल का हर हिसाब हमारी ग़ज़ल में है।
पूरी ही इक किताब हमारी ग़ज़ल में है।
मेरी ग़ज़ल है हीर का सोहणी का बांकपन।
जेहलम भी और चिनाब हमारी ग़ज़ल में है।
देखा था मिलके साथ जो दोनों ने एक ही।
अपना हसीन ख़्वाब हमारी ग़ज़ल में है।
जो कर सका ब्यां न था मैं बोलकर कभी।
माशूक का शबाब हमारी ग़ज़ल में है।
सिहरन जो उठ रही है तेरे पास बैठकर।
एहसास का गुलाब हमारी ग़ज़ल में है।
किसने दिया है प्यार, दिए किसने ग़म हमें।
हर शख़्स का हिसाब हमारी ग़ज़ल में है।
बरसात तब हुई थी जुदा तुमसे जब हुए।
ज़ख्मी दिलों का आब हमारी ग़ज़ल में है।

ਕਾਫ਼ੀਆ: ਆਉਂਦੀ
ਰਦੀਫ਼:ਏ ਜਦ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਢਲਦੀ ਹੈ
ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਯਾਦ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਏ ਜਦ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਢਲਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਕਸਕ ਤੜਪਾ ਕੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਉਂਦੀ ਏ ਜਦ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਢਲਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਕੱਲੇ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਦ ਯਾਦ ਤੇਰੀ ਘੇਰ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਏ,
ਜਲਨ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਧ ਜਾਉਂਦੀ ਏ ਜਦ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਢਲਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਫ਼ਰ ਇਹ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਣਾ।
ਸਿਤਮ ਇਹ ਜਿੰਦ ਚਾਹੇ ਢਾਉਂਦੀ ਏ ਜਦ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਢਲਦੀ ਏ।
ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਦਿਲ ਕਦੇ ਗੱਲਾਂ 'ਚ ਮੇਰਾ ਏ,
ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖਾਉਂਦੀ ਏ ਜਦ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਢਲਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਤੇਰੇ ਏ ਮਖਮਲੀ ਗੈਸੂ ਜਦੋਂ ਉੱਡਦੇ ਹਵਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ,
ਲਗੇ ਇੱਦਾਂ ਚੁਨਰ ਲਹਿਰਾਉਂਦੀ ਏ ਜਦ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਢਲਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਯਾਦ ਏ ਤਨਹਾਈ।
ਕੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੈ ਪਤਾ ਤੜਪਾਉਂਦੀ ਏ ਜਦ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਢਲਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਕਦੇ ਜਦ ਯਾਦ ਆਵੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਦੀ ਜਦ ਸੀ ਮਿਲੇ ਆਪਾਂ।
ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭਾਉਂਦੀ ਏ ਜਦ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਢਲਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਉਹ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਰੇਸ਼ਮੀ ਸਿਰਹਾਣੇ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਸੌਂ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
ਕੋਈ ਫਿਰ 'ਗੀਤ' ਕੋਇਲ ਗਾਉਂਦੀ ਏ ਜਦ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਢਲਦੀ ਹੈ।

A sharp pain stirs my silent soul when evening falls.
Alone at dusk, your thoughts return, I feel you call,
The wick within my heart still burns when evening falls.
Though filled with storms, my path is hard, yet I stand tall,
No matter how deep the world may hurt when evening falls.
Someone once broke my tender heart with bitter calls,
Each word they said still bites me deep when evening falls.
Your velvet hair that softly flows as nightwind crawls,
Like some bright scarf that floats in air when evening falls.
Since you are far, your memory brings these empty walls,
This aching loneliness grips my heart when evening falls.
I sometimes think of when we met upon those halls,
My little heart-bud blooms again when evening falls.
Those silky memories I keep close, like gentle shawls,
And then some cuckoo sings for Geet when evening falls.
