ਗ਼ਮ ਸੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਿਲ ਕਰਜ਼ਦਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ
ਅਸੀਂ ਲੁੱਟਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਚਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ
ਉਹ ਆਏ, ਮੁਸਕੁਰਾਏ ਤੇ ਦਿਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
ਅਸਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਲੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੀ ਹੁਣ ਕਰਜ਼ਦਾਰ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ
ਸਾਡੇ ਅੱਥਰੂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਵੇਖੇ , ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਥਰੂ ਮੋਤੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
ਚੱਲਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸਿਲਸਿਲਾ, ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕੋਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਗਿਆ।
ਜਦ ਉਹ ਆਏ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ, ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ।
ਚਾਹੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦਿਲ ਘਬਰਾਇਆ, ਪਰ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ।
ਵਿੱਚੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਰਦਾ ਏ ਮਨ, ਬੇਦਰਦ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਸਨਮ।

Ġam sī dittā unhāṁ nē dil karazadār hō gi'ā
Asīn luṭtade rahē unhā nū āpaṇā baṇā'uṇ dī chāh vich.
Uh ā'aē, musakurā'ē tē dil unhāṁ dā hō gi'ā.
Asāṁ tāṁ pahilāṁ hī luṭtē hō'ē sī huṇ karazadār vī hō ga'ē
Saāḍē atharū kisē nē nā vēkhē, unhāṁ dē atharū mōtī hō ga'ē.
Chalad rihā silasilā, fēr kō'ī uhanāṁ nū chhaḍd gi'ā.
Jad uh ā'aē sāḍē kōl, lai kē man vich afasōs.
Chāhē vichōṁ dil ghabarā'i'ā, par ōhanāṁ nū āpaṇā baṇā'i'ā.
Vichōn vich ḍardā ē mann, bēdard hō jāndē nē sanam.

Grieving was given, his heart became indebted
We kept robbing to make them our own
They came, smiled and heart became their.
We were already robbed, now we have also become debtors
No one saw our tears, their tears turned into pearls.
The series went on, then someone left them.
When they came to us, with regret in their heart.
The heart was terrified, but made them my own.
There is a fear in the mind, they wil give pain ultimately.
