ਨਾਦਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਅਣਜਾਂਣ ਨਹੀਂ ।
ਉਹ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਤੜਫ਼ ਵੱਧਦੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਏ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ।
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਉੱਠਦੇ ਅਰਮਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਕੀ ਜ਼ਮਾਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਡਰਦੇ ਨੇ ਯਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ।
ਕੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਬਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਚੱਲਦੇ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਨਾਲ ।
ਪਰ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਏਦਾਂ, ਸਾਥ ਨਹੀਂ।

Nādān nē uh aṇjāṇṇ nahīn.
Uh kiyuṁ kardē pahichāṇ nahīn.
Tadaf vadhdī jāndī ē dil dī.
Uhanāṁ dē ky'uṁ uṭhadē aramān nahīn.
Kī zamānē tōn uh ḍardē nē yā.
Unhān dē dil vich chāh nahīn.
Kiyuṁ nahīn kar pā'undē dil dī gal.
Kī uhanāṁ dē mūh vich zubān nahīn.
Chaldē nē uh nālō naāl.
Par lagdā hai ēdāṁ, sāth nahīṁ.

This heart did not know that.
Why don't they identify?
The pain of the heart increases.
Why don't their aspirations rise?
Are they afraid of the times?
Or they have no interest in their hearts.
Why can't you talk about your heart?
Is there no tongue in their mouth?
They walk with us.
But it seems so, not together.
