2936 Your Charm (English poetry)

 Punjabi version 2939

The moonlight showers its glow so fine,

And bathes you in its silvery shine.

Distances grew with your absence near,

Your grace now brings our hearts so near.

At the bend where we crossed our ways,

Your charm recalls those cherished days.

With every glimpse, I lose my mind,

Your touch erases the space unkind.

A fear haunts me, you might depart,

Your grace stirs tremors within my heart.

Your fragile beauty, a gentle art,

Your care for self is a work of heart.

My gaze from you, I cannot part,

Your grace ignites my soul's own start.

How can I tell, you're within my soul,

Your charm completes "Geet," makes me whole.
