काफ़िया अर्द
रदीफ़ है
कैसे उनको कहें, दिल में क्या दर्द है।
अगर कहें भी बड़ा वो तो बेदर्द है।
टीस दिल में उठी इस कदर,जैसे के,
तोड़ती जिस्म कोई हवा सर्द है।
कितने टुकड़े हुए दिल के पूछे कोई।
टूट कर दिल मेरा ये हुआ गर्द(खाक) है।
खून दिल से मेरे देखो रिसने लगा।
जिस्म सारा मेरा यह हुआ ज़र्द (पीला) है।
क्या पढ़ोगे इसे, देर अब हो चुकी।
यह तो खाली पड़ा सा हुआ फ़र्द(चिठ्ठा) है।
अब उबरना हुआ मुश्किलों से भरा।
साफ पानी जो था, बन चुका कर्द(कीचड़,दलदल) है।
आजमाया सदा जोर इक क्षीण पर।
कोई ऐसा यहां एक भी मर्द है।
दर्द अपना लिए खुद ही चलते रहे।
"गीत" को है मिला कौन हमदर्द है।

Kaise unako kahen, dil mein kya dard hai.
Agar kahen bhee bada vo to bedard hai.
Tees dil mein uthee is kadar,jaise ke,
Todatee jism koee hava sard hai.
Kitane tukade hue dil ke poochhe koee.
Toot kar dil mera ye hua gard(khaak) hai.
Khoon dil se mere dekho risane laga.
Jism saara mera yah hua zard (peela) hai.
Kya padhoge ise, der ab ho chukee.
Yah to khaalee pada sa hua fard(chiththa) hai.
Ab ubarana hua mushkilon se bhara.
Saaph paanee jo tha, ban chuka kard(keechad,daladal) hai.
Aajamaaya sada jor ik ksheen par.
Koee aisa yahaan ek bhee mard hai.
Dard apana lie khud hee chalate rahe.
