कस्तूरबा गांधी को भारत में बा के नाम से जाना जाता है।

महात्मा गांधी की पत्नी थीं कस्तूरबा गाँधी ।( जन्म 11 अप्रैल सन् 1869 ई.)
काठियावाड़ ,पोरबंदर में जन्मी, गांधी संग डटी रही बन के आंधी।
कस्तूरबा गाँधी के पिता 'गोकुलदास मकनजी' थे व्यापारी ।
निरक्षर कस्तूरबा की सात साल में, 6 साल के मोहनदास संग हुई सगाई।
तेरह साल की आयु में उन दोनों का विवाह हो गया।
बापू के पथ का अनुगमन करते उनका जीवन भी सादा हो गया ।
बा बापू के धार्मिक एवं देशसेवा के महाव्रतों में सदैव साथ रही।
यही उनके सारे जीवन का सार था और वो उनकी सँभाल करती रहीं।
1932 में हरिजनों के प्रश्न पर बापू ने यरवदा जेल में आमरण व्रत किया ।
बा साबरमती जेल से जब यरवदा जेल में पहुंची तभी चैन लिया।
धर्म के संस्कार बा में गहरे बैठे थे,वो आजीवन इस पर दृढ़ रहीं।
इसी दृढ़ता से कई बार जेल गई और अपने निश्चय पर अड़ी रहीं।
दक्षिण अफ्रीका से भारत आते ही बापू के अनुभवी सैनिक की भांति साथ रहीं।
चंपारन के सत्याग्रह में बा भी कदम से कदम मिलाती रहीं।
खेड़ा सत्याग्रह के समय बा स्त्रियों में घूम घूमकर उन्हें उत्साहित करती रही।
बापू की गिरफ्तारी के वक्त वीरांगना बन उनके वक्तव्य पर चलती रही ।
गिरफ्तारी के विरोध में विदेशी कपड़ों के त्याग के लिए लोगों का आह्वान किया।
दांडी यात्रा ,धरासणा के धावे के दिनों, बापू के जेल जाने पर बा ने बापू के अभाव को पूर्ण किया।
महात्मा गांधी की पत्नी होने के अलावा कस्तूरबा गांधी की अपनी पहचान थी।
वो एक समाज सेविका ही नहीं , एक देशभक्त भी महान थीं।
दक्षिण अफ्रीका में अमानवीय हालात में भारतीयों से काम कराती सरकार थी।
इसके विरुद्ध आवाज उठाने और जेल भी जाने वाली कस्तूरबा गांधी बा थीं.।
जिस महात्मा गांधी से अंग्रेज डरते थे।
वो खुद कस्तूरबा गांधी से ऊंची आवाज में बात न करते थे।
साल 1922 में स्वतंत्रता की लड़ाई लड़ते हुए महात्मा गांधी जब जेल चले गए ।
स्वाधीनता संग्राम में महिलाओं को शामिल कर कस्तूरबा ने आंदोलन किए।
जनवरी 1944 में उन्हें दो बार भयंकर दिल का दौरा पड़ा।
आयुर्वेद का डॉक्टर आकर भी ,उनको फिर बचा न सका।

Terah 13 saal kee aayu mein un donon ka vivaah ho gaya.
Bapu ke pad ka anugaman karate unaka jeevan bhee saada ho gaya .
Ba bapu ke dharmik Evan deshsewa ke mahaavraton mein sadaiv saath rahee.

1932 mein harijanon ke prashn par baapoo ne yaravada jel mein aamaran vrat kiya .

Giraphtaari ke virodh mein videshee kapadon ke tyaag ke lie logon ka aahvaan kiya.
Daandi yaatra ,dharaasana ke dhaave ke dinon, baapoo ke jel jaane par ba ne baapoo ke abhaav ko poorn kiya.
Mahaatma gaandhee kee patnee hone ke alaava kastooraba gaandhee kee apanee pahachaan thee.
Vo ek samaaj sevika hee nahin , ek deshabhakt bhee mahaan theen.
