क़ाफ़िया अब, रदीफ हो तुम.

Qafia aan Radeef ho tum

मिली हैं जब से ये तुमसे नज़रें , तभी से आंँखों का ख्वाब हो तुम 

थे कांँटे इस जिंदगी में कितने, हो बन के आए  गुलाब हो तुम। 

मिलेंगे गम प्यार में ही तेरे, कहांँ यह मुझको पता था पहले। 

कहां पता था मुझे की इतने, मेरे लिए तो सराब (मृगतृष्णा) हो तुम ।

वो नरगिसी नैन, नक्श तीखे, वो ढलते सूरज से होंठ उसके।

बयान करूंँ और कितना मदहोश कर दे ऐसा शबाब हो तुम।

फरेब कोई नहीं किसी से, न बैर कोई किसी से तुमको।

हो जैसी भी सामने हो सबके, खुली हुई इक किताब हो तुम। 

हो जिंदगी में कोई परेशानी या की तकलीफ भी कोई, तो।

मैं जानता हूंँ कि मेरे हर इक सवाल का बस जवाब हो तुम।

नशा है इतना तेरी नज़र में, किए सभी के ही  होश हैं गुम।

है "गीत" इतनी नशीली ज्यूँ पहले तोड़ की इक शराब हो तुम।

खामोश लब है झुकी है पलके 

Milee hain jab se ye tumase nazaren , tabhee se aannkhon ka khvaab ho tum 

The kaante is jindagee mein kitane, ho ban ke aae  gulaab ho tum. 

Milenge gam pyaar mein hee tere, kahaann yah mujhako pata tha pahale. 

Kahaan pata tha mujhe kee itane, mere lie to kharaab ho tum .

Vo naragisee nain, naksh teekhe, vo dhalate sooraj se honth usake.

Bayaan karoonn aur kitana madahosh kar de aisa shabaab ho tum.

Phareb koee nahin kisee se , na bair koee kisee se tumako.

Ho jaisee bhee saamane ho sabake, khulee huee ik kitaab ho tum. 

Ho jindagee mein koee pareshaanee ya kee takaleeph bhee koee, to.

Main jaanata hoon ki mere har ik savaal ka bas javaab ho tum.

Nasha hai itana teree nazar mein, kie sabhee ke hee  hosh hain gum.

Hai "Geet" itanee nasheelee jyoon pahale tod kee ik sharaab ho tum.

Ever since  met our eyes, you have been the dream of my eyes. 

There were so many thorns in this life, you have become a rose. 

I will meet you only in sorrow and love, how did I know this before? 

How did I know that you are so bad for me?

Those Narcissus eyes, those sharp features, those lips like setting sun.

How much more intoxicated can I tell you, you are such a young man.

You are not deceived by anyone, nor do you have any enmity with anyone.

Whatever you are in front of everyone, you are an open book. 

If there is any problem  in life.

I know that you are the only answer to all my questions.

There is so much intoxication in your eyes that everyone has lost their senses.

The "Geet"is so intoxicating that you are the wine .
