In the valley of Sonmarg, couples stroll with grace,
Amidst the sprawling valley, mountains stand in place.
Waterfalls here, trees there, snow-capped peaks so high,
Whoever roams this valley, fills their heart, oh my!
Above, the sun shines bright, with warmth it does embrace,
Below, the cool breeze blows, filling hearts with cheer and pace.
A river flows through the heart, with a sound that’s so profound,
The mind dances to the tune, as joy within is found.
People are drawn to see, this picture so divine,
It’s true what they say, Kashmir is heaven’s sign.
