न हमने आजतक अपनी, मोहब्बत आजमाई है।

हुआ है प्यार जब से ये, न सोया मैं तो रातों को ।

न आए नींद उसको भी, मेरी जिसने चुराई है।

किया इज़हार उसने तो, न अपने प्यार का अब तक ।

कहेगा वो कभी तो आस हमने ये लगाई है।

बड़ा है महफिलों का शौक, उसकी इस ख्वाहिश को ।

वो आएंगे इसी इक आस में महफिल सजाई है।

हुआ हर दिन बहारों सा, खिले हैं फूल दिल के सब।

मिला जिस दिन से वो मुझको, हुई बस आशनाई (लगाव) है।
