3079 Who’ll See My Tears? (English poetry)

This heart was shattered by deceit—

But who will see my tears repeat?

She may be cruel, let that be known,
But who will dare to judge her tone?

My buds had yet to see the light,
They wilted long before their height.
Now tell me true, in gardens bare,
Who’ll play when joy no longer's there?

She came into my life, it's true,
But what was I supposed to do?
With faces faded, worn, and torn,
Who’ll keep such memories forlorn?

She spoke—I couldn’t hear a thing,
My heart lay crushed, not fluttering.
Now silence grips my lips so tight,
Who’ll speak my heart’s pain into light?

This world now seems so torn apart,
With broken dreams and heavy heart.
All shattered souls, in scattered zone—
But who will mend them all alone?

Come close, let’s bloom, let's live as one,
Let kindness shine like morning sun.
Let good for all become our song—
But who will pause and think what's wrong?

Let love-filled crops grow every day,
Let peace and joy define our way.
All dream of such a world so fair—
But who will plant these seeds with care?

Come ‘Geet’, decide, take up the plow,
Let’s till the fields, begin it now.
Let’s see at last, in hopeful tone—
Who’ll sow the seeds of love we own?
