ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕੀਤਾ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿ ਧਰਤੀ ਥਰ ਥਰਾ ਰਹੀ ਏ।
ਛੇੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਦਰਦ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਜੋ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਏ ਦਿਖਾ ਰਹੀ ਏ।
ਕਰਮ ਹੀ ਮਾੜੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਣੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੇ, ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਹਿੱਲੀ।
ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਲ ਦਿਖਾ ਰਹੀ ਏ।
ਧਰਤੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਸੰਭਲ ਕੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜ਼ਰਾ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ।
ਕਿਤੇ ਏਦਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਨੀਂ , ਅੱਗੇ ਦੌੜ ਪਿੱਛੋ ਚੌੜ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਏ।
ਮੰਨਿਆਂ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਣਾ ਏ।
ਪਰ ਕਿਤੇ ਇਹ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤਾਂ ਨੀਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਏ।

Ajihā ki kītā inasān nē ki dharatī thar tharā rahī hai.
Chēd dittā kihaṛā darad is dā jō gussā ē dikhā rahī hai.
Karam hī māadē keetē hōṇē inasān nē, tān hī zamīn hilī.
Inasān nū uhadē kītē karamān dā fal dikhā rahī hai.
Dharatī kahindī sabhal kē chad zarā tarakkī dī'ān pauṛī'āṁ.
Kitē ēdān tāṁ nī, aggē daud pichhe chauṛ hudī jā rahī hai.
Manni'ā inasānanū aggē aggē vadhṇā hai.
Par kitē ih tarakkī pichē tān nīṁ lai kē jā rahī hai.
(English meaning)
Man has done such that the earth is shaking.
Teased what pain it is showing anger.
Only if a person does bad deeds, then the earth shakes.
Showing a person the fruit of his actions.
The earth says take care and climb the stairs of progress.
Somewhere like this, the race ahead is getting wider behind.
Admittedly, man has to move forward.
But somewhere this progress is taking it backwards.
