ਗੈਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਗਮ ਹੀ ਗਮ ਮਿਲਿਆ
ਹੁਣ ਖੁਦ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਸੂਰਜ ਦੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਚ ਭੀੜ ਹੀ ਭੀੜ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਈ।
ਹੁਣ ਜੁਗਨੂੰ ਦੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਮੌਤ ਆਈ ਤੇ ਗੁਜ਼ਰ ਗਈ ਸਾਹਮਨੇ ਤੋਂ।
ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਸਾਗਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਸੀਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ।
ਨਦੀ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ, ਨਦੀ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਬਹੁਤ ਬਹਾਇ ਅਥਰੂ ਯਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਸਦੀ।
ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਹਾਸਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਨਾਲ ਗੈਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੱਲੇ ਤਾਂ ਮਿਲੇ ਕੰਡੇ ਹੀ ਕੰਡੇ ।
ਹੁਣ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਲ ਕੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

Gairān nāal dōstī karkē gam hī gam mili'ā
Huṇ khud nāal dōstī dā mazā lai rahē hāṁ.
Sūraj dī rauśhanī ch bheed hī bheed nazar āa'ī.
Huṇ juganū dī rauśhanī dā mazā lai rihā hāṁ.
Jis dia maut ā'ī tē guzar ga'ī sāhamanē tōṁ.
Us din tōṁ zindagī dā mazā lai rihā hāṁ.
Sāgar dī'āṁ lahirāṁ har kisē nū nasīb nahīṁ hudī'āṁ.
Nadī kōl hai tāṁ ,nadī dā mazā lai rihā hāṁ.
Bahut bahāe atharū yād vich ōsadī.
Baiṭh kē huṇ hāsi'āṁ dā mazā lai rihā hāṁ.
Nāal gairāṁ dē chalē tāṁ milē kanḍē hī kanḍē.
Huṇ nāal āpaṇē chal kē phulāṁ dā mazā lai rihā hāṁ.

Because of friendship with strangers, I got grief
Now enjoying friendship with myself.
In the sunlight, the crowd was seen only
Now enjoying the light of Jugnu.
The day, death came and passed away.
Enjoying life since that day.
Ocean waves are not for everyone.
If there is a river, I am enjoying the river.
Weep in their memory till date .
Sitting now enjoying the laughter.
When I walk with others, I find thorns only .
Now I am enjoying the flowers on my own.
