ਬੀਤ ਗਏ ਨੇ  ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਲ ਏਦਾਂ

ਪੰਖ ਫੈਲਾ ਕੇ ਉੱਡ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਪੰਛੀ ਜਿੱਦਾਂ

ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਉਂਝ ਤਾਂ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰ ਦਿਨ

ਪਰ ਫੇਰ ਵੀ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੇ ਬਚਪਨ ਦੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਲ ਗਏ ਛਿਨ

ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਚ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਬਨਾ  ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਨਰ।

ਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਚ ਸੁਣਨਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਿਕਰ।

ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਨੇ

ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਨੇ।

ਕਿੱਥੇ ਨਸੀਬ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਸਬਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਸੀਬ ਹੈ।

ਉਪਰ ਵਾਲਾ ਲਗਦਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਹਬੀਬ ਹੈ।

ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਇੰਜ ਹੀ ਰਹੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਉਹਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਸਦਾ ।

ਏਦਾਂ ਹੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਚ ਜਗਾ ਲਵਾਂ ਬਣਾ ।

ਸ਼ੁਕਰਾਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਨਾ ਮੈਂ ਭੁੱਲਾਂ ਕਦੇ ।

ਯਾਦ ਰਵੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਪਲ ਹਰ ਘੜੀ ਓਹ ਸਦਾ।

ਅਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹੇ ਸਦਾ ਉਹਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ।

ਬੀਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਐਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੱਸਦੇ-ਖੇਡਦੇ।

Beet ga'ē nē sārī zindagī dē sāal ēdāṁ

Pankh phailā kē uḍd jāndā hai pachī jidāṁ

Bahut vadhī'ā un̄jh tāṁ nikali'ā mērā har din

Par phēr vī yādā aandē nē bacapan dē jiade pal ga'ē chhin

lōkāṁ dē dila cha jag'hā banā  laiṇ dā hunar.

Tē phēr unhāṁ dī'āṁ galāṁ suṇan āpaṇā jikar.

Bahut hī changā lagadā hai jad sārē kahidē nē

kī tusīṁ sāḍē dila cha rahidē nē.

Kithē nasīb hundā hai sabhanāṁ nū jō mainū nasīb hai.

Upar vālā lagadā mainū āpaṇā habīb hai.

Cāhnudā hān inj hī rahē sir tē uhadā hath sadā.

Ēdāṁ hī sāri'āṁ dē dil ch jagāh lavāṁ baṇā.

Śukarānā karanā nā maiṁ bhulāṁ kadē.

Yād ravē mainū har pal har ghaṛī ōh sadā.

Aśhīravād baṇi'ā rahē sadā uhadā mērē tē.

Beetē zindagī aisē tar'hāṁ hasadē-khēḍadē.

Year passed like a bird spreads its wings and flies

My every day turned out to be very good

But still the memories went to the childhood yard

The ability to make a place in people's hearts.

And then listen to their words.

It feels so good when everyone says that

You live in our hearts

Where is the fate of all that I have?
