ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਸੋਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ
ਰਾਹ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਸੀ, ਮੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
ਉੱਡ ਗਏ ਨੇ ਪੰਖ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ,
ਕਿਉਂ ਉਹ ਪਲ ਗਏ ਨੇ ਛਿਨ।
ਕਿੰਨੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਦਿਨ।
ਕਿੰਨੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਦਿਨ,
ਜਦ ਅੱਜ ਵਰਗੀ ਕੋਈ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
ਕੁਝ ਪਾ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਹੋੜ੍ਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧਣ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਦੌੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
