Why do her eyes shed silent tears?
Ask me, I'll unveil her fears.
What deep sorrow fills her chest?
Ask me, I'll tell you best.
Her lips are sealed, her voice is still,
Yet her thoughts speak loud at will.
She stands where her pain began,
Ask me why—she holds her span.
Her path is blocked, her steps don’t stray,
Like a river, why not sway?
I had asked, but she kept inside,
Now she speaks with pain so wide.
I know her thirst, her silent cries,
Why does ‘Geet’ yearn with sighs?
