2049 Leaving me like this, oh dear, is not right. (English poetry)

Leaving me like this, oh dear, is not right.

Making a promise, then vanishing from sight.

If some reason kept you away from me,
Still bonding with others – how can that be?

We've parted ways, yes, that’s understood,
But dressing another’s home – is that any good?

What’s said at home, let it stay there inside,
Spilling secrets outside – that’s not justified.

If you’re hurt by me, then speak your mind,
Showing our troubles to all – that’s unkind.

One who loves you more than any can do,
Hurting them so deeply – is that fair to you?

Though you're far, in dreams you appear,
Stealing my sleep – that’s not fair, my dear.

You once wrote 'Geet' on your heart so true,
Erasing it now – how could you?
