3037 They steal my sleep (English poetry)

They lock their eyes, then walk away,

With a smile so bright, they make my day.

A glimpse of them, and my heart's on fire,
Awakening dreams, they stir desire.

I wish they'd stay and never depart,
To spend some time and share their heart.

Their style is unique, their grace so grand,
With a velvet suit and scarf in hand.

They seldom come, and when they do,
They steal my sleep and leave me blue.

I tried so hard to forget their face,
Yet memories haunt in time and space.

'Geet' had wished to share her heart,
But they just speak and then depart.
