 He once would care, now he does not.

Said he'd be there, now he does not.

He’s not someone I now recall,

To even be there, now he does not.

The promise he had made to me,

To keep it fair, now he does not.

Lost in himself, all on his own,

To meet or share, now he does not.

Since he has found his love so new,

To smile or dare, now he does not.

I watched the roads, my heart was sore,

But to be aware, now he does not.

He looked at me with eyes so kind,

But love declare, now he does not.

'Geet' he sang for all with joy and grace,

But my song there, now he does not.
